Outlook 2010- Recurring meetings; Adding/removing attendees RRS feed

  • Sometimes, I am not being prompted whether to send ALL occurrences or only one AND also, not prompted to send to ALL or added/removed attendees. I removed and added an attendee--and everyone received the entire series of invites.

    Is there a "best practice" on how to update and send these types of meetings?

    What's your Exchange server version? Does the issue happen to all users? What changes did you do for an existing meeting as the meeting organizer? Also confirm if the issue occurred when an attendee was removed from a meeting that contains a distribution List:


    Generally, if you change the following information for a meeting, the updates would be sent to all attendees without prompt for send to all or some:

    Start Date/Time
    End Date/Time

    If all you do is changing the attendees for a meeting request, then Outlook will ask you if it should send out the meeting update to all attendees or to send out invites/cancellations to the people who have been added/removed only.
