Changing Timeline Taskbox Colour Formatting RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I've noticed when creating a Taskbox with a colour, it's automatically adding a gradient.

Although this looks prettier, I would very much like to remove the gradient to keeps things standard across documents.

I've found the way to change the taskbox colour, but no options to edit the formatting, if I select 'More Colours' there's no formatting options there either.

Is what I'm trying to do even an option?

If not, no problem, I'd just like to confirm.

    Thank you.

I think "prettier" is a relative term. Obviously you don't care for it (me neither), so it's not "prettier" for your needs.'

Unfortunately as far as I can tell, there is no way to change the shading of task bars on the timeline. It's interesting that the shading for Gantt Bars on the Gantt Bar view CAN be removed under File/Options/Advanced group/display options for this project, but it has no affect on the timeline display.
