Software/methods to query all past sent & received Outlook emails to add email auto complete entries RRS feed

  • Around five to seven years ago I discovered several utilities that would query all email addresses within a user's Outlook Inbox and Sent emails folder and would then add these email addresses to a user's Outlook auto complete email address entries. The email address auto complete entries are the email addresses that appear within the Outlook address bar whenever the first few letters of a user's email address or name are typed in the address bar.

    I need to do this with Outlook 2016.

    Where can I download these types of utilities from?

  • Hi,

    Maybe you can try the method described in this article which utilizes the “Import and Export Wizard” and Excel:

    Step 1: Export “From Name” and “From Address” to a csv-file
    Step 2: Remove duplicates
    Step 3: Remove internal Exchange address
    Step 4: Further filtering and saving
    Step 5: Import the csv-file into your Contacts folder
