Windows 10 - Disable network location prompt RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Does anyone know how to disable W10 1703 network location prompt that is showing when machine boots to desktop first time? I know that I don't need to click it or anything but I would still want to disable it.

  • You could manually add <NetworkLocation> to your \\server\deploymentshare$\control\TaskSequence\unattend.xml file.

  • I read that this is deprecated in Windows 10

I ended up running a PowerShell script that sets the network profile to private.
