I am not sure what the game you are playing, if it's 3rd party one, please check the compatibility on Windows compatibility center:

Otherwise, please try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Upgrade the router’s firmware for a test.
2. Restart the machine in Clean boot and verify whether the symptom occurs in this mode.
3. Install the Network adapter driver for Windows 10 found on manufacturer's website.
