Windows 2008 R2 SP1 installation failure RRS feed

    HI Team,

    Iam unable to install service pack 1 on a windows 2008 R2 machine.

    When i initiate the install its getting rebooted and configuring service pack up to 10%  then another reboot is trigerred again configure service pack upto 10 % and it will fail and revert the changes.

    After auto  reboot upon reverting the changes  the error window is coming like (0x80070490)  Error_NOT_Found.

    I have done chkdsk c: /f --> no issues

    Sfc /scannow ---> no issues

    Tried a clean boot and intiated installation --> no luck

    Ran windows update troubleshooter. It ran and fixed 3 issues and again initiated -->no lock

    Also installed windows update system rediness tool

    The CBS.log is almost 200MB. If someone can help me or give some  clue iit will be great.
