caps lock key not working

before i start this i'd like to apologise for no capitals due to this issue.
a week ago, my caps lock has suddenly stopped working. i tried using on screen keyboard which made the light go on, but whenever i press it, it doesnt do anything.
i have a toshiba satellite c75-a-13n. i also have a ps/2 standard keyboard

Get the hardware checked from Toshiba.
It can be hardware issue.
