SCP autodiscover RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Guys,

I know whenever we install CAS, SCP object is created in active directory and whenever domain joint machines query for access it, it will automatically pick up the configuration settings and go to the respective cas server and configure a profile.

But my question is someone have told me that we can set the SCP AD object set to null, if it is then how we can set the scp to null in AD.

    thanks,

    Akshay

  • Hello Rob,

Thank you so much for your reply. But, what will happen with the external client which not domain joint, will it able to user autodiscover?

I think the request will directly go IIS virtual directory and he will be able to access autodiscover and will configure profile automatically?

    Thanks,
