Mailbox Creation Issue in Exchange 2010 SP1 RRS feed

  • Guys,,

    I am trying to create New Mailbox on newly installed Exchange 2010 SP1 which is on co-existence with Exchange 2003 Sp2 but its giving me an error that

    Error:
    Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

    Exchange Management Shell command attempted:
    Enable-Mailbox -Identity 'domain.local/Users/Migration' -Alias 'migration' -Database 'MBXDB01'

    Also generating event Id 6 as

  • My Problem is resolved & it was Address Book Issue, I have run the below mentioned cmd & mine is resolved: -

    Set-Addresslist "AddressListName" -Includedrecipients MailboxUsers

  • Hi Vishal.

    It seems a exchange permission issue. Please check if you have necessary access permission at least recepient admin .

  • For the identity can you try to use one of the follwing

     

  • GUID
  • Distinguished name (DN)
  • Domain\Account
  • User principal name (UPN)

  • @Mihir, What are permission you want me to check???? I am having Administrator, Domain Admin, Exchange Admin & Schema Admin Rights...

  • You need minimum Recepient permission exchange to create a mailbox.
