Office starts a re-install after re-booting with Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi - installed Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 last night.  Restarted this morning and tried to start Outlook - which opened an installation dialogue box.  What is going on?

The process then fell over because ProPusrWW.msi could not be found.

    How do I fix this?

  • Hi,

Please try to repair your MS Office. I recommend "Online Repair", instead of Quick Repair.

  • Hi,

How did you try to start Outlook? Did you try to start Outlook via a shortcut? If so, we may consider to search and open Outlook from Start to see whether you see the same result.

Besides, please also check whether it is the same case when trying to start other Office programs, such as Word or Excel.

    Regards,
