Emails being marked as unread before I have read them. RRS feed

    I have 3 emails coming into my outlook 2016 all from the same domain.  On 2 of the account the emails appear as unread for a  few minutes and then convert to read.  This means I often miss vital emails.  I have read forum after forum about this problem, I have clicked and unclicked every option in the reading pane - options and nothing makes a single difference. Yet strangely my 3rd account is fine and keeps them unread until I read them.  I  currently have all 3 accounts set the same  which is not one box ticked in options.  Have I missed something really obvious or are there other settings elsewhere that could be affecting the 2 other accounts?  It is so frustrating and driving me mad!!

    All ideas and suggestions would be gratefully received

  • Hi,

    Do you have your three email account set up in the same mail profile in Outlook?

    Do you have your email accounts configured on any mobile devices? Such as your cellphone? If so, please try temporarily disabling the synchronization on these devices and then check if this issue continues.

    In addition, please also try starting Outlook in safe mode (outlook /safe) and then check if this issue continues. This will help determine if this issue was caused due to problematic add-ins.
