UAG Outlook Anywhere Publication Trouble! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys!

I published the Outlook through the UAG according to the instructions on MSDN but when testing the setting with

    https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/default.aspx

    I get

Testing Http Authentication Methods for URL https://webmail.contoso.com/rpc/rpcproxy.dll  The HTTP authentication test failed.    Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it
         Additional Details
Initial Anonymous HTTP(s) request did not fail but Anonymous is not a supported Authentication Method for this scenario

That's the only error I get and Outlook Anywhere doesnt work when sitting out of office.

    Any tips?

    Thanks in advance

I've seen that error from the test website even when UAG is fully working correctly...I assumed it was a UAG false positive...

  • Can you let us know which instructions you used.  The UAG instructions do not include testing outlook anywhere settings.

  • Hi!

I used the instructions on the link you provided to configure outlook anywhere and I used the like I provided (https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/default.aspx) to test the functionality.

That's when I got the error above. And I also noticed that when trying to use Outlook out-of-office I can't connect.

  • Hi!

I solved it by redoing the whole publication.

  • Hi Hinjo,

Am getting the exact same error while publishing Outlook Anywhere. Can you tell me how did you resolve this issue? I know you redid the publication, but what did you change when redoing it?
