I'm currently building an environment for one of our customers that involves the use of sharepoint 2010, office 2010 and WTS 2008. Although I can get Word 2010 to save a document to sharepoint when using the workspace 2010 utility built into pro
plus, my customer does not want to go to the expense of purchasing this level of product.
All the information I have read suggests that Word 2010 should be able to save directly to sharepoint 2010 without the need for workspace 2010. Bearing in mind that all of this information references the office 2010 installation being on a Windows
7 platform, and mine is operating on a WTS 2008 platform, would anyone be able to verifiy that this should work? and if so how?
