Generating policies in UAG fo direct access RRS feed

  • Whenever I try to genereate the poicies for Direct access in UAG I get this message:

    Creating GPO UAG DirectAccess: Client{3491980e-ef3c-4ed3-b176-a4420a810f12} on lonzagroup.net.
    failed. The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007054B)

    Any ideas what I may be doing wrong here?

  • Also, if this is a lab enviornment, make sure all domains have at least one domain controller up and running

  • Hi Ohimo,

    Sounds like there might be a problem contacting a domain controller or a DNS problem that's leading to a problem connecting to a domain controller.

    What are the DNS settings on the interfaces on your UAG computer?

  • Another thing to consider is DNS. Make sure that the ISATAP address of the DC is registered in DNS.
