    I'd try running;

    sfc /scannow

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    or possibly a repair install by running setup.exe from the root of the install media.

  • Hi,

    Is there any change before this problem happened? Such as new hardware/software installaion, replacement? If so, please undo the change and check the result.

    Besides, you may try to re-start system in Clean Boot and Safe Mode to check, if there is any difference for startmenu, notifications and apps.

    If problem persisits, please provide the detail OS name and version. Error message and Event ID if there is any.
