Windows 2008 R2 and ACT RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have installed a server with Windows 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2 and ACT 5.6. After that I configured a directory on the same machine as the shared ACT log directory.

After the logfiles are collected from the clients they all ends up in the Failed directory. I have the following error in my event file:

    Log Name:      Application

Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.

According to the description: the conflict occurred in database "act", table "dbo.OS", column 'osID'.  I want to know what the Windows clients are. If the clients are Windows 7 SP1, please kindly refer to the following article:

  • Hi,

I have the same issue as mentioned above.

I tried the solution provided in the article mentioned above.

I executed the INSERT statements provided but there is no resolution.

I am still unable to pull data from a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine in ACT through DCP.

Could you please let me know if there is any process to be followed after executing those INSERT statements.

    Regards

    Mohit
