Adobe PDF add-on could not access acrobat's web capture facility.... ERROR message RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I am using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 10. I am finding some error message when I use the Internet Explorer add-on "Adobe PDF". Whenever I try to convert any web page an error appears of "Could not access Acrobat's Web Capture facility. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input". This error message has only been appearing recently. I have tried to uninstall Adobe reader and reinstall, however, the error message is persistent. Also, I have logged onto a different user on this same computer and the error message does not occur and the webpage conversion is successful. The error message appears to only be from the Administrator account. Please help.

    Kind regards,

    Wally

ps. I can't include a screenshot because I'm not verified yet.

    Thanks

  • Hi Wally,

Adobe reader is written and maintained by another company...

Start>Adobe Reader>Help>Online Support to access their support forums and knowledge base.

Help>About Adobe Reader to find out what version you are using.

    Regards.

  • Also, I forgot to mention I also ran a "repair Adobe reader installation", but still the error keeps occurring.
