  • Question

  • Hi,

I have Three 2008 R2 servers, one server downloaded the updates and the other two didn't get them. I checked the BITS and Windows Update services and they are started.

  • Hi,

Please consider providing the update ID or KB number where the problem you mentioned is helpful to analyze whether there are any preconditions for the update.

  • (KB4550964, KB4550965 et KB4550738), the status of kb on wsus is "installed" on the server which received the updates and "not applicable" on the other 2.

  • Hi,

Please consider providing the "install" update KB number and "not applicable" KB number, which will is helpful to analyze. Check for updates by referring to the below:
Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Update -> View update history

Please note if you install KB4550964 successfully(Security Monthly Quality Rollup), there is no need to install KB44550965(Security Only Quality Update). It is recommend installing the latest SSU before installing the Security Monthly Quality Rollup.

If you have any questions, please keep us in touch.

    Regards,
    Rita
