Cannot connect the app to my pc RRS feed

  • Hi, I have downloaded the RD client app on my iPad and downloaded Remote Desktop assistant to my windows pc. Both on the same network but I cannot seem to link them together. Not sure what I am doing wrong as I have watched videos and input the IP and user name from the PC

  • The likely answer is that you are running Windows 10 Home which does not support remote desktop. You need the Pro version to use that.

    I use UltraVNC to connect from my laptop to my desktop.  Both are Win10 Home.

  • What error message do you get, have you set your computer to accept incoming connections ?

    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Click on System and Security.
    3. Click on System. ...
    4. Click the Advanced system settings option from the left pane. ...
    5. Click the Remote tab.
    6. Under the "Remote Desktop" section, check the Allow remote connections to this computer option.
