not able to receive calls from phone number RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is the error i get when i try and call a number. I cant add the number to a user or response group as it says its not unique. But i cant find reference to it anywhere.

    In the Snooper i get

    Via: SIP/2.0/TLS 192.168.111.30:64163;branch=z9hG4bKaf137ade;ms-received-port=64163;ms-received-cid=72500

    ms-diagnostics

: 4190;reason="Failed to determine the user's pool to process request.";TargetUri=1905555555@sipdomain.com;source="lync.fqdn.local"

and i get this in the event log

Contact Object is not homed properly.

Contact Object 19055555555@sipdomain.com is not homed properly. Error: 0xC3EE79FF.

Cause: This could happen if the Contact Object is homed on an Application Server that has since been changed in Topology.

    Resolution:

Ensure that the Contact Object is homed properly by using the appropriate commandlet.

    How do i resolve

    Thanks in advance

  • Resolved!

There was stale records in AD "CN=Application Contacts,CN=RTC Service,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=local"

    I ran a Lync Powershell Command Get-CsApplicationEndpoint

from there it outputted ALL the stale records.

WARNING: "RegistrarPool" with identity "594603069" assigned to

"sip:1905555555@sipdomain.com" has been removed from configuration store.

    Below that showed the following

    Identity               : CN={5bf72950-f903-4177-8887-3635a433618f},CN=Applicati

                             on Contacts,CN=RTC Service,CN=Services,CN=Configuratio

                             n,DC=Domain,DC=local

    RegistrarPool          : 594603069

    HomeServer             : CN=Lc Services\0ADEL:c5c61b5f-19a0-49a0-9aa3-e6841778f

                             =local

    SipAddress             : sip:1905555555@21degrees.ca

    DisplayName            : Company Name

    DisplayNumber          : +19055555555

    LineURI                : tel:+19055555555

    PrimaryLanguage        : 0

    SecondaryLanguages     : {}

    EnterpriseVoiceEnabled : True

    Enabled                : True

So i located the Contact Object in ADSIEdit, 5bf72950-f903-4177-8887-3635a433618f found it and deleted, created the response group with the phone number and VOILA!!!

Hope this helps someone in the future!
