How to create combox menù item ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi to all

we're customizing MS Project 2010 with some vb Scripting.

We're albe to create menù item in toolbar that run our macro.

Now we would like to insert some menù item more complex ... for example a combo box as well as filter or grouping menù item functions.

For example we want to create a combo-box menù with a set o our values that acts on our custom macros.

thank you in advance for your time.

    regards

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do but it sounds like you want to set up a custom ribbon item similar to, View->Data group->Filter icon/selection box. If so, that is something that requires a little more advanced set of commands in Visual Basic. You might want to take a look at the following link:

If on the other hand you want to do everything with VBA, you might find that a macro with a Userform will meet you needs. Take a look at the following thread, particularly pages 2 & 3, where I detail a Userform example:

    Hope this helps.

Yes it's the first. I need to customize UI menù.

The second one it's more simple to implement, I suppose... but I don't like so much as the custome UI menù items.

    thank you for links.
