Authenticate with the wireless radius server before attempting to login to the domain RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

So i work at a school where the students are provided with laptops & laptops, and at the moment we're using WPA-2 with a pre-shared key, So i'm trying to set up a Radius server for wireless authentication.

I have it mostly working, but i've come across a problem. I need users to connect to the wifi and authenticate with the radius server before attempting to login to the domain or they won't be able to login.

I had a play around with the settings, and found under

Advance settings > Enable single sign on for this network > perform immediately before user logon

this works but it requires the user to type their credentials in twice.

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

    Thanks for your post.

Please check the following article to deployment the SSO for wireless. Hope it helps.

Configure Wireless Clients running Windows 7 and Windows Vista for PEAP-MS-CHAP v2 Authentication
