Situation of HTML Media Capture with Internet Explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I tried to search for an answer with no results, so I'll ask here:

What is the situation of Internet Explorer supporting HTML Media Capture?

The company I work for prefers to use Internet Explorer, but I have had to tell them to use Google Chrome until Internet Explorer gets up-to-date. Someone asked that "when would that be?", so I'd like to know whether we're talking about weeks, months or years here.

The best answer I've got so far is from here: http://mobilehtml5.org/ which plain and simply says "no", but clearly I'm looking for something better as an answer.

    Thanks for any answers!

It doesn't seem to work. Where Chrome just displays the camera when pressing a button, Internet Explorer displays the file browser.

What's the first version of Internet Explorer where this should work properly?
