Hi krishnaaindia,
Generally, windows server 2016 will show as win10 in WSUS server 2012 R2 (also not correct). It is a known issue, and seems no fix till now. While on WSUS 2016, it can display correctly.
(S3 is a Server 2016, and it displays as win10 on WSUS 2012R2)
As for the win2016 show as win2008, maybe you haven't installed KB3095113 and KB3159706(with manual steps), if not, you may install the two KBs:
KB3095113:
KB3159706

Anne

Hello Anne,
And if the WSUS server is installed on Windows Server 2016, and the Win 2016 servers are shown as Win 2008, installing KB3159706 will suffice?
Best regards,
Daniel
