Windows Server 2012 R2 didn't reflect the group policy when restart.

  • Hi ,

AIK the group policy auto reflected when the following condition is true:

    1. System Restart.

    2. 90 mins +/- 30 mins.

    3. User manually run gpupdate /force.

However, on one server only option 3 works. Anyone know why the gp is not applied even restart but works when run gpupdate /force? Any log we can check? Thanks.

A lot... Issues at no GPO processing at startup: Lack of network
connectivity, often due to Spanning tree detection (lasts too long in
larger networks -> 30 sec. default timeout reached before the switch
connects the port to the network).
Applied with /force, but not automatically: "Apply even without changes"
unchecked - can be set individually for all CSEs. For some of them,
"Apply without changes" is default, for others not.
