Thank you very much for your answers.

I found a cause for the Problem. On the Customer Server is very strength security for TLS and Cipher Protocols acitvated..Only Cipher A and TLS 1.2 are allowed.

I changed this and it is working now.

Thank you all very much for you help.

  • Hi,

    Try as follows:

Might need to restart the console and services.

If it doesn't work, I suggest you use ProcessMonitor to check to which IP address the SCOM console tries to access, here's a few blogs about this:

  • Did you try the following:

Uncheck the "Automatically Detect Settings" within the Internet Options Connections LAN Settings of Internet Explorer?

  • By default there’s no configuration required, it works out of the box, so there’s clearly something in your environment that is preventing your SCOM from accessing the web service calls.

If you do have any firewalls enabled, might still try disabling them (both on the server and central ones ), for the sake of troubleshooting.

What does the Operations Manager event log say?

Can you open the URL with the account used by SCOM? Try opening an IE with the account used by SCOM, also try logging in as the account used by SCOM.

Are there any restrictions applied to the SCOM account?

  •  Hi,

We suggested to add the following two URLs to the whitelist, and also allow all traffic from the Management Server on the proxy server.

    https://www.microsoft.com/mpdownload/ManagementPackCatalogWebService.asmx

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/

Restart the management server and see if it is working.

    Hope it can help.

    Best regards.
    Crystal
