  • Question

  • Hi,

    Am not a Exchange Administrator.

But for knowledge have a query like How many owners can be assigned to a Distribution List?

By default we can add only one as per my knowledge. Is there any possibility to add more

  • Hi,

It is impossible to add more owners to a distribution group in Exchange 2007.

When I try to use M.Zahid’s way to add more than one user and click OK, the error message occurs and shows ‘More than one object is selected. Only one object can be returned. Remove extra objects and press OK’. Instead, when I only specify a user, contact, or group as the manager for this distribution group, it works fine.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

  • Yes you can manage it through Active Directory User & Computers, Go to ADUC ->View->Advanced Features->Find Distribution list  in domain and then Go to Security Tab->Add User and give him writes to add member and remove member or full rights
