Win7 screen resolution 1280x768,1024x768,800x600 can't full screen on Mobile PC dispaly RRS feed

  • OS: Win7 RTM build 7600
    In clean OS from Right click desktop->screen resoultion->change resoultion to 1280x768 or 1024x768 or 800x600
    find display can not auto fill full screen, there are black areas in panel.

    It's windows 7 normal behavior?

    Currently, I haven't see similar issues. Could you please install the latest video driver to test the issue?

  • our company is ODM manufact ,we also have this issue in montevina calpella plateform ,include GM and PM , I think it is not the driver issue

  • we have find the root cause , because if you use 1366X768 panel , if you use 1280x768,1024x768,800x600 , the vga driver will auto set to center mode ,if you select to full screen mode ,it black  areas will disapear. but the screen show some abnormal . this is normal ,

  • to fulscreen you just right click on my computer ->properties->device manager->display adapters-> there is an entry like Mobile intel......(microsoft corporation wddm 1.1). just right click on this entry and DISABLE IT.
