Exhange Online Powershell does nothing


  • I need to increase attachment size limits for our email. Setting it from within the Admin Center online has no effect. AFAICT, PowerShell is the only way to apply the attachment size increase I need. The problem is that, even though I've connected to Office 365 online via PowerShell and can run Get-MsolUser and see Office 365 users listed, I can't run get-mailbox or any other Exchange command. Microsoft Exchange Online PowerShell is installed but does not successfully launch. It pops up like it's going to launch, then just shuts right back down. I'm missing something simple here. If someone can point me at the obvious thing, I'd appreciate it.
