New to FIM. Trying to delay requests to a specific time RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

I am currently developing an ASPNET application witch uses the FIM-service to ad new users to our MFA-plattform.
Got adding to AD-Groups running after a bit of a hussle but it would be great if i could delay the request to a specific time.

The pending attribute did not work as i thought it did and the only variables i can find related to timing in MPR:s seem unable to handle precise timestamps, only Before/after a specific date and not hours.

Has anyone else had to deal with this and in that fortunate case, how did you solve the problem?

  • There is a Delay workflow activity in the MIMWAL which you could potentially use.

  • Thanks!

Been looking into MIMWAL as well, unfortunatly upgrading our plattform in any way (MIM is planned) involes a lot of testing so for this Project i won´t be able to use it.

  • Hi,

Please note that you can use MIMWAL for FIM aswell. The requirement is:

    • Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 R2 - 4.1.3496 and above.
