BSOD error minidump files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

We have a desktop that keeps getting the bsod. We run windows 7 pro 64 bit with office 2003. We also run a terminal server that is windows 2003 32 bit. I have the minidump files but don't know how to read them or make sense out of them. This seems to happen with they have a word doc open along with other things but i can't tie it down to a specific issue. Here is the link for the minidump off my skydrive.

  • Hi,

After checking the dump file, I found the issue might be related to the file “mrxsmb10.sys” .
You can update these system files by installing hotfixes.

"0x00000027" Stop error when you try to access a shared network resource in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7

You cannot access a remote server that shares files and printers by using the SMB protocol from a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7

Paged pool memory leak when you access some shared files in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2

In addition, please check the issue with clean boot:
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

    Hope this helps.
