Windows 7 x64 Taskbar Unresponsive after Sleep or Hibernate then Resume RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I put my machine in Sleep or Hibernate it, when the machine is resumed, the taskbar is unresponsive for anything from a few seconds to a few minutes, then all of a sudden it bursts back into life and is OK again.  I have a Lenovo W510 Thinkpad.

  • Hi,

According the issue , I suggest that you may perform a Clean Boot first. Some third- party software and too many programs running would cause this problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    Hope that helps
