SCSM 2012 - Can I set a Knowledge Article to not be available on the Self Service Portal? RRS feed

  • I want to create some knowledge articles that are for IT department internal consumption only and do not want those articles to display on the SSP.  Is there a toggle so that a published article is not visible even with a correct keyword search?  I realize just populating the external content or the analyst tab will take care of the content, but I would prefer to not even have a blank RTF display for the user should one find the article.

    Why not add a new status to the list, something like "Internal"?

  • Ok, I'm not seeing anything that limits what is displayed on the SSP.  It seems as soon as an article is published that it is avaiable for search on the SSP.
