  • Mario,

Please report your findings with regards to Windows Embedded POSReady 7 Customer Technology Preview through the Connect site where you downloaded the product.  It is important that all feedback go through Connect for tracking purposes.  It is pre-release software and as such we will not be answering questions about POSReady 7 in this forum.

    Thank you

  • Hi MarioCampo,

As the developer for that feature in POSReady 2009, I'm glad you liked this feature!

The bad news is that we are still in POSReady 7 development and we are investigating that feature.  The good news is that Windows 7 does have it.  You might be able to convert the POSReady 7 DVD to USB using the same tool.  It's available at:

    http://wudt.codeplex.com/

Now I can't guarantee it will work because we've never tried it, but it's worth a shot.  You'll also have to provide an ISO for it to read which there are some tools for.

  • My version of the POSReady2009 ISO does not have an autorun with the option to convert to USB!

    Any ideas?

  • If you downloaded the evaluation from the Microsoft Download Center it is only a CD image and does not contain all functionality available on the DVD. To obtain the DVD you can order an eval through www.posready.com or an official opk through an authorized Windows Embedded distributor.
