Win 7 Professional 32 Bit VS 32 Bit RRS feed

  • Question

  • A Java based desktop application, retrieving reports from oracle 10g instance and output is shown in an applet. When application is accessed on Win 7 64bit, it works fine but same application gives a blank window in Win7 32 Bit environment. Any suggestion as how to make it run in Win 32 Bit? Appreciate a quick response.

  • Hi,

If the program is specifically designed for the 64-bit version of Windows, it won't work on the 32-bit version of Windows. Device drivers designed for the 64-bit version of Windows don't work on computers running a 32-bit version of Windows. You need to confirm with Oracle Technical support about this issue.
