SfB on premises with Exchange Online (with UM) RRS feed

  • We have SfB and Exchange on premises...we are valuing move Exchange to the cloud. Our SfB infrastructure is like:

    PSTN /NGN <>SBC <> SfB / Exchange....

    I think we won't problems with Exchange mailboxes....but our doubts is about UM function...

  • You can integrate with exchange online for SFB using new hosting provider and dhared address pace method.Follow below article.

  • Will Incoming calls that go over SBC and finish in UM Online have problems ??

  • The calls routed through SFB wont affect.Like SBC-->SFB-->Exchange online is not affected.Only 3rd part PBX solutions using SBC are affected as per my understanding.

  • We have a Fax solution, so I suppose we need to keep a few Exchange Servers on premises, but I don't know if it's necessary only keep HUB servers....

  • What is your Exchange server version?

    Base on my research, you may need to keep HUB servers.

    I’m not familiar with FAX solution, but in an Exchange Hybrid environment, it requires at least one server running Exchange Server 2010 SP2 in your organization. And your organization must contain one or more hybrid servers with the Hub Transport and Client Access server roles installed.
