Output Page Cache "<!-- Rendered using cache profile" Time always changes RRS feed

  • Question

  • G'Day,

We have implemented Outut Page Caching (ServerAndPrivate), but have noticed that the debug  line (within the source of the page being rendered) <!-- Rendered using cache profile,  shows the time the page was viewed.

Does this mean that the page is not being cached?

    Thanks

    Andrew

  • Hi,

According to your description, in my limited experience, the message “Rendered using cache profile” comes up: output cache not used. Reason: Users can view an unpublished version of current page. For more information, please refer to this blog:

  • David,

Thanks for your response, but not answer my question. According to the page source, caching is anabled and working. However the time cached is always the time the page was refreshed within the browser regardless of how long the cache has been set to expire (24 hours on our system).

So am a little confused as to how a cached page gets changed.
