    In MS Word 2007 when selecting text it's a grey background with black text, is there any way to change that to what MS Word 2003 has which is black background with white text.

    Hi,

     

    I am sorry but we are unable to change the color for the selected items in Office.

    Office applications do not use the Selected Items color in Windows for every element that you select in the application. I agree with you that this feature is important.  I believe lots of customers also need this feature. I will submit a request to our Feedback department through our internal channel. You can also submit the feedback to Microsoft about the Office program from this link:
