fast switching power options RRS feed

  • Question

  • These days make me sensitive belonging power consumption.

    So I want to have a fast option dialog in the notification area
    to see the state and switch between the power options

    'Power Saver', 'Balanced' and 'High Performance'

    on my
    VISTA desktop PC.

     I copied a shortcut belonging the downloaded "Power Plan Switcher for Windows 7.exe"

    to

    "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

     

    So, all users of my desktop PC have it in the notification area.
