SBC: Certificate requirement to TLS RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're going to configure TLS and SRTP between Mediation and SBCs (Acme)

What are certificate's requirement that we have to request on SBC ??

Could be IP SBC as Common Name or we should use a FQDN ??

  • Based on my experience with Audiocodes devices I would suggest to use FQDN in the certificates for the SBC. The FQDN should be also configured on the SBC.

You have to use the FQDN in Skype for Business topology builder as well.

The TLS negotiation will work in this case. ;)

  • That should  be the FQDN as you have defined it in the Topology , you can also see this mentioned in the Audio codecs PDF file for the same
