UAG Portal \ RemoteApp - Trigger Automatic Logoff RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey,

We have deployed RDS RemoteApp with the UAG Portal and are running into problems with UAG disconnecting Active RDS RemoteApp Sessions.  It is set to "trigger automatic logoff after" 60 minutes.  This is what we want...but we do not want it to trigger a logoff if the RemoteApp session is active.

The portal does not seem smart enough to detect if RemoteApp is active and functioning.  We realize that we could increase the length with a privileged session, but do not want to do this.

Please let me know if anyone has any experience in resolving this...any workarounds would be appreciated.

    Justin

  • Hi Amigo. The automatic logoff can triggered by inactivity of by global duration of the session. If the time specified for the session is reached the session will be disconnected unconditionally and it doesn't depend on user activity. The inactivity timeout is specified in the "inactive session timeout" while the maximun session time is specified in the "trigger logoff after"
