Microsoft R Open Installation on Linux RRS feed

  • Hi ! What if my Linux server does not have internet connection, will I still be able to install successfully the Microsoft R Open 3.5.0 with MKL installer? Will there be prompts during the installation to allow me to download other package dependencies?

  • Microsoft R Open requires the installation of a number of system libraries, which are typically downloaded from the internet, when installed via the 'yum' command(Cent-OS) or 'apt-get'(Ubuntu), so you will need to have internet access to install these system dependencies or you need to download these in advance.
