Realtek High Audio Definition has a driver problem - When I reinstall, I get Error Code - 0xc0000374 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My audio is not working.

One day, my speaker icon on the taskbar gets a red cross on it.

I troubleshoot the problem, I get a message telling me Realtek High Audio Definition has a driver problem. I try and uninstall the driver and reinstall it, but it always failed. If I go on Sound, it will show me nothing: No audio devices are installed.

My computer is Acer, Aspire V5-561G.

I took it to the store, they told me to go to the Acer website and download the driver from there.

When I install the driver, it first uninstalls the current driver, restarts, then installs the new driver. Towards the end of the loading bar, it stops, and I get Error Code - 0xc0000374.

Can someone please help me? I really don't know what to do here...

  • I've met a problem exactly the same as yours(and my computer is also Acer). Have you solved your problem? Can you tell me how you solved it?
