[EPM 2010] Define the focus on a specific task. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to define a specific rule when you open your projet detailed view.

Example: I have found in the server setting, that you can manage the format view per view (Task Summary, Task Detail ...)

So, i have mentioned that i would like to see the entire tasks collapsed.

Now my question: Is it possible to collapse every tasks except one (based on a specific rule like) ?

    Thank you,

    Math

  • Hi Math,

When you create a View formatting in Manage views of PWA Server settings. There is no out of box option to show a specifc task (collapse every tasks except one ) but on another note if you have the specific task is standard on each project & lets say on Outline level 2. You may setup the view to show the Outline level 2 in view formatting.

You may create a custom PDP page with JSgrid or standard grids which can show the data as desired.
