How to turn off Windows 10 settings --> Cortana --> Permission & History --> View activity history RRS feed

    Hi 

    I need to turn off a Windows setting via Group Policy or Reg key for the below setting. Does anyone know how to do this in an enterprise environment?

    Windows Settings --> Cortana --> Permission & History --> View activity history

    I need this turned off. Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

    1. Open the Local Group Policy Editor.

    2. In the left pane of Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to the location below. (see screenshot below)

    Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\OS Policies

    3. In the right pane of OS Policies in Local Group Policy Editor, double click/tap on the Allow publishing of User Activities policy to edit it.

    4. Select (dot) Disabled, click/tap on OK.

    5.When finished, you can close the Local Group Policy Editor if you like.

    By disabling this will it disable other features or just that one under the below?

    Windows Settings --> Cortana --> Permission & History --> View activity history
