Hybrid between SfB and SfB Online - EV resists OnPrem

Question
-
Hi there,
we have a new customer company onboarding to O365. In the headquarter no SfB is deployed. But they own a branch office where tey utilize SfB OnPrem with Enterprise Voice enabled. When the whole company will be migrated, the branch office wants to keep their Enterprise Voice environment as they utilize it for their whole telephone traffic.
I have two questions:1. Is it possible to create a SfB Hybrid solution where the employees in the HQ can use SfB Online and the employees of the branch office staying OnPrem with the existing EV?
2.Would it be still possible to create a Hybrid between SfB OnPrem and SfB Online today? Or would it be a SfB / Teams Hybrid?
Would there be limitations to the Hybrid due to Teams? (In a new Test Tenant I could see, opening SfB shows only old conversations, new interactions are not possible)
Thanks for your help in advance.
Kind regards,

Hi woelki,
1. It is supported to create SFB hybrid environment with the on-premise enterprise voice deployment. If you want the online users use the on-premise enterprise voice deployment, you only need to assign SFB + Phone System licenses to your users. You could refer to the following official document to find the details: Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams add-on licensing.
2. It is also supported to create a hybrid between SFB on-premise and SFB online today. If you want to upgrade SFB on-premise to Teams, you also need to do the hybrid between SFB on-premise and SFB online at first, then move users to SFB online and later move to Teams. You could refer to the following official document to find the details about this: Upgrade to Teams from a Skype for Business hybrid or on-premises deployment.
In addition, you could also refer to the following blog to find the details about Step-By-Step: Skype for Business 2015 Hybrid Configuration.Best Regards,
