SQL Server 2005 setup error - SQL Native Client cannot be found RRS feed

    Hi,

    While SQL Server 2005 installation I got below error.

    ----------------------------------------------------

    An installation package for the product Microsoft SQL Native Client cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'sqlncli.msi'.

    Thanks Andrew. I managed to install it successfully. I installed SQL Native Client independently and then tried installing entire setup again. It went throgh without any error.

    Hi,

    I believe that you already have a version of the SQL Native Client installed.

    Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall the existing version of the SQL Native client, and try your installation again.
