Custom refresh image in win 10
-
hi!
I have been struggling for a week with this issue :(
the windows refresh is just like factory reset that returns windows to its original state.... i just want to get my system to be refreshed to a custom system image (an image that i would create that contain some drivers and software other than windows apps). this was doable in windows 8.1 using the RECIMG.exe , but unfortunately this tool is no longer available in windows 10!
so what are the choices to do such a thing? i.e : i want a way to custom create a re-image to be used when i refresh the system
thanks all.

thanks everybody for taking time to consider helping me...i solved it in a different and easier way
in fact the solution was that you don't have to create a new image,,,you just add your customization to the existing recovery partition using USMT tool (part of the ADK tools)
for more info you can view this video:

you also can view this document from microsoft about this operation:

Read this article: http://www.windowscentral.com/how-make-full-backup-windows-pc
If this is not what you are looking for then use one of the following Backup utilities (my preference) listed below:

Note:
Install Todo and then create an "Emergency Disk" (WinPE option is the better of the two choices) before you start creating your first image backup.

Acronis:
True Image 2016
Has a 30 day trial version available, trial Key sent to your Email Address.
User interface has become more complex and less obvious, be prepared to read the user's guide before you start. Pay special attention to the "Options" and don't exclude the "System Volume Information" folder from the backup.
Note: Cloning and drive initialization (creating a MBR) are not supported in the trial version.
Image Backups and restores are fully functional.
For the trial version, recovery / restore image is available only when booting from an Acronis Bootable Media CD.
Install Acronis and then create a bootable Restore/Rescue Media CD (WinPE option is the better of the two choices) before you start creating your first image backup.

thanks for taking the time to reply
I have already walked through all these links, but my problem is that i am forced to use the windows refreshing system utility not a third party one, to be clear what i need to do is to have a recovery image of my current system where i can refresh the system to it by these steps:
Step1 :open setting
Step2 :select Update & Security
Step3: select recovery
Step4 :click get start
Step5 :select "Keep my files"
Step6 :select next
Step7:select "Reset"so my question is how do i set windows to refresh the system according to my custom image? and how to create this custom image?

Your best option is to use a external hard disk to create a system image with a certain state. You can having multiple system images by changing the machine name.
