Strange shared calendar behaviour - issue - on local PC we see planned event but it is not on any other device RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hallo there,

We are using one shared callendar four our time management. We are used to make an event into it and invite one or more persons also. So the event appears in that shared calendar where it is created and in callendars of invited persons too.

Since last week we have found that if we are following our procedure, the creator is only one person who see the event in the shared callendar... no one else is seeing it there. Only invited persons in their personal callendars, but not it that shared one - where it was created.

We have Windows Small Business Server with Exchange 2010 running on it. All updates are installed.

On local comupters we have Office Professional + 2016 mostly...

Dont you now anybody whats wrong? We are just installing updates and not doing anything else with that server...

  • Hi Jan,

Have you granted the permission to other users ? Try the following command to add permission on shared calendar and check again:

    Add-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity "sharedUser@domain.com:\Calendar" -User OtherUsers@domain.com -AccessRights Reviewer

  • Hi Jan,

As a test, you can try to create a new test mailbox and shared calendar as well, then check if there is the same issue persists.
