Outlook Frozen by fractured email (a big picture) how to unfreeze? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Outlook 2003 was running great until Monday.  A picture was forwarded to my email account.  Now I can't open outlook.  I talk to the shaw internet, and when we went in through the internet company's other way, we found this photo had been "fragmented" into three sections.  We deleted it there, but that has not changed the fact that the outlook email is frozen on this lap top.

    I have tried:

    a) turn it off
    b) open outlook without the internet connected

I can't get to any other portion of outlook as it is frozen downloading this picture.  I don't care about the picture.  I just want to find a simple way of deleting it - so that my outlook email will work.

I don't want to unintsall and reinstall outlook because then I will loose all the emails that I have saved.

  • Hello,

Does this relate to Application virtualization?

Otherwise I would suggest to post this in an Outlook related forum.
